I'm Niklas Johannknecht, the founder of 90five. After years of freelancing, I wanted to build a team of colleagues who share the same passion for design, psychology, and growth as myself.
That's how 90five came to life. Over the last four years, we have grown into a team full of talented designers, developers, marketers, and problem solvers who work together to create exceptional experiences.
What I didn't like in other agency models is the high level of politics and bureaucracy. That's why we keep our project teams small but effective enough to push the status quo — whether it's a new product, website, or campaign.
I asked one of our clients how it feels to work with us, he replied, "It's like spending time with old friends who value a deep commitment to building a strong future together."
His response describes our partnership better than I ever could.
P.S. Many people often ask about our name. For me, 90five represents all the elements I mentioned earlier - a team that works together towards something greater, just like in the Disney Cars movie.

Our standard compensation model with partners generally includes a fixed timeline, contract, and investment for a specific project. This model accounts for approximately 89% of our partnerships.
Monthly
As part of our task force, we offer a flexible monthly subscription to our partners, which can be canceled or paused at any time without the need for a contract. This subscription model represents approximately 9% of our partnerships.
Hybrid
Within our agency, we also have hybrid compensation models where we provide startups we truly believe in with a combination of a small commitment fee and an equity-based partnership. This unique model represents approximately 2% of our partnerships.
