What is the difference between UX and UI design?

UX is user experience design. It covers the structure, flow, and logic of a product: how someone moves through it, what they can do, and how it responds. UI is the visual layer on top: the buttons, colors, typography, and components. Good product design needs both. We do not separate them because the best interfaces are where UX and UI are designed as one system.
